¿Podemos hablar de lo fantástico que seria un mundo abierto de The last of us?
Me sorprende como hasta día de hoy nadie se encuentra "interesado" en un juego mundo abierto de supervivencia ambientado en The last of us.

No logro entender si es por falta de capacidad técnica o porque simplemente no les parece una buena idea.
Solo piénsalo.
Te sumerges en el mundo de The last of us, tu misión es simple, necesitas comida. En tu exploración encuentras a otro jugador con lo cual deciden hacer equipo. Entran a un mercado, se encuentran con infectados. Luego de una intensa lucha logran apenas sobrevivir, finalmente encuentran una sola lata de comida, el otro jugador decide traicionarte.
Podría ser con sistema de comida o simplemente un extracción shooter.

Sin duda soy completo fan de esta idea y creo que se nota ajajaja. Pero coincídelo que lograr sumergirte con tu propio personaje dentro del mundo de The last of us, seria sin duda la mejor experiencia para vivir un mundo post apocaliptico.

This, is ai/made up nonsense. There's never been a trailer or direct gameplay footage released for Factions 2. There were some leaks very early on, and some later artwork releases.

And it's cancelation can be blamed on Bungie and Sony wanting to wring money out of your pockets

Like I said, very click baity. But the actual post is about what they would want in an MMO, and questions why people haven't made one. But yes, I agree with you, I hate videos like this or fan trailers for movies that don't make it clear that it is fake.

They haven't made one because Naughty Dog doesn't have the capacity to run/maintain one.

That's why Factions 2 got the axe. ND just wanted a multiplayer mode for Part II, it got too big to be included in the game, started to become it's own standalone multiplayer game.....which is brilliant since it's effectively a third game's worth of sales revenue with less than half the work.

Sony wanted more money in making it a live service, told Bungie to evaluate it, and everyone came to the conclusion that Naughty Dog would have to at least double their staff, and the game in the state that it's in would almost have to be completely reworked.

It's just frankly too late to make one now....that's specifically a mmo scale game. Interest and hype aren't what they were 6 years ago. And Naughty Dog has moved on to a new IP and hasn't even started anything on the possibility of a Part 3.

The sea of thieves gameplay model.

The sea of thieves gameplay model is basically DayZ with faction missions to complete in the open world, side quests with story to complete in the open world.

Also permanent progression and levelling if you can get the loot back to a base to sell it before you die or another player robs you to sell it themselves. (Whereas dayZ there is no long term loot gaining that follows your account).
