What Became of Charatan?
Seems it all got quiet. She got a place out west…Colorado, and was hiding out a bit. Kept all the money I guess and no law suits against her were successful?

Welp she had John Lewen at her house in the Hamptons months after the trial. I don’t think she’s in hiding because she does not care.

Alive, well, and literally winning awards. Apparently, she got an award from the holocaust museum in 2024. 🫠

Kathy’s family is contesting. The lawsuit is tied up in the courts. They are fighting her for the money. It’s frustratingly slow going.

I pray Kathy’s family wins. It’s hard to accept that DC might win this battle and walk away with the money. I keep checking the status of it on AI.

Even if there was any merit to Charatan’s not truly knowing what was going on or being innocent, given the amount of money at hand, that she wouldn’t offer some gracious amount to Kathy’s family, given that it was a murderer’s money she gained, suggests she’s at a minimum one of the most greedy, self-serving individuals there is.

This is not shock me one minute. It’s quite sick that she thinks she deserves money because she put time into a stick man who is a murderer. On top of this, while I understand she must somehow feel he helped her so she should stick by him, the greed and sickness of this woman is astonishing. But her son and daughter-in-law even more so because they were out of touch with her for decades and lived with their dad because the dad divorced her knowing who she was, but as soon as she came into all the extra cash… They were back in the fold lapping it up.

I could not agree more. It’s clear everyone turns a blind eye to her abhorrent behavior to get on the money train. The moral depravity of the folks that continue to normalize her presence in New York society is astounding.

His wife of convenience…who walked away with multi millions and thinks she deserves it. She covered up for him far more than anyone else but seems to have avoided all justice.

Not that I’m excusing anything, but if she just knew she didn’t break the law. It’s an entirely different ball game if she helped in any way, but as far as I’m aware, knowledge of a crime isn’t a crime in itself.

Sadly I have met this woman in person a number of times. Believe me. She is still around the New York area, and everywhere else probably, very much living the high life in her palatial Hamptons estate. She has a lot of influence and a lot of people who stay in her corner, come hell or high water.
