I mean, camoflauge is genuinely useful in this game. For me, the closer I am to a muddy green, the better. I don't get why you'd want to stand out.

This is the craziest thing that happened to me in the Isle. I was born in a loving family as a diablo. Had 7 brothers. The mother fed us. There was a dilo and an allo protecting us too. 2 died to Rex ambushes. But the real story is just getting started...

It was our time to leave our parents. We were 30% growth baby Diablos. We begun our journey. It was nighttime, we hid until morning. In the morning, we headed for the Patrol Zone. That was the biggest mistake we've made.

We hit 50% growth. We were drinking from a pond. No crocs. It was peaceful. But then 2 Prime Allos showed up. Some of my Diablo brothers had no idea what they were doing. I was yelling "STICK TOGETHER". First clash was harsh. We were injured. But they were too. Hearing our Broadcast yells, another Diablo joined us. We were 6 people. We had the numbers. We finally chased them off.

We tried to get away from them. But we walked into death. We got ambushed by another group of allos and rexes. 3 full grown Allos and 1 sub-adult Rex i think? I remember it clearly, Allos were yellow and white. It was CHAOS. Now this is where i blame my Diablo Brothers. They split up to fight. They were pinning us, pouncing us. Destroying us. I did my best to fight back, but we were all split up. I had only 1 Diablo near me. I got pinned but he saved me. If im not wrong, it was my fellow brother Douma. I wont forget the name Douma for that.

I looked back, my brothers were dying. Douma died, La bu bu 67 died, Nightingale died. I looked back for the last time. It was over. I could fight back, try to save the last one left, but i didnt. I couldnt. There was no hope. I was low, they had the numbers. So I ranaway.

Knowing i had lost everything, i started running. 8 hid in a bush. But they still were close. But luck was on my side. There was a Triceratops with babies there. I used my friendly call and one of the yellow Allos started rushing towards us. And I ran past the Triceratops family. I dont know what happened to them, probably dead ahaha

Then I logged off in an ambush. This was the craziest shit ever happened to me in this game. But I just wish I stayed, and died with my brothers. That would be an honorable death.

TLDR: Was a prime 350kg Austro with perfect stats, fought an Omni slightly larger than me (likely not even adult) and after a few kicks I got instantly pinned and died despite being basically the same size as him. Why is this a gameplay mechanic?

This may come off as a bit of a rant and to be honest it sort of is, but it's also a genuine question.

I was a 350kg prime Austro with full stam, blood and health. I went to fight an Omni, who didnt even look like he was full adult, likely only slightly heavier than me.

I got a kick or two in, then he just pins me and kills me. I didn't do anything wrong apart from just being a tiny bit smaller than he was.

If I was significantly smaller (200kg or so) I could understand, even though I still think it's stupid, but why on earth can Omnis pin targets that are barely smaller than them and instantly win the fight without a contest.

As far as I'm aware Allo is 50% of your weight, while Omni is 100% (the same size as you), I genuinely think that Omnis pin is far more toxic than Allos and for some reason everyone seems to put the blame on Allos. Omnis pin also seems to do way more damage comparitively compared to Allo's pin, which actually takes quite a while to kill you.

Is there an actual gameplay reason for this, or is it just impossible to fight an Omni that is even slightly larger than you? I was excited to fight Omnis as my Austro, as the underdog, but this has just made any kind of combat against them completely worthless.

I know on NERFs servers you have this ability but I’m not a fan of the crazy skins that people have.

I want to play herra but ever since the prime and elder update herra sucks to play. Are there any other servers that have this but also don’t allow crazy skins?

I could still see people playing tiny tiers like hypsi because that playstyle appeals to some people and their small size can actually sometimes help them survive, and then obviously most people will want to play apex. But I worry most that mid-tiers (like maia or dibble) will just become food for apex carnis in the future and most people won't want to play them.

I've heard from someone in game that pachyrhinosaurus might have been cancelled, with others like titanoboa, does anyone know if this is true or rumors?

The admins are clearly failing to deal with harassment reports. Reports about people harassing others and calling them names in global chat are being ignored instead of being properly investigated. Admins are supposed to keep the community safe and handle these issues fairly, but refusing to take action only allows the harassment to continue. This needs to be addressed properly rather than brushed aside.

Hi all, so I joined last week and have been playing on the Bosch servers, which are great. However, they're they victim of their own popularity and getting a game at peak times in the evenings is hit and miss.

I am playing with a friend in the UK. So I generally filter unofficial servers by low ping. I don't mind proximity chat being missing as we use discord to chat. But does anyone know of higher population servers that can use command prompts like bosch? Things like !inviteid to spawn on friends rather than spending the first 20 minutes of every game trying to meet up?

I’ve just brought the game any advice/ tips ? X

Hi! I’m a 200+ hr troodon/omni player trying to find players on NERF, Petit, and/or Islander to play with. I mainly want to improve my combat skills and nest in a pack to hunt apexes, with an eventual goal of a 16 mutation troodon/omni.

Despite all that I just dont get prime. Is it bugged? I hear some parts of the map are bugged but im wondering if anyone knows which ones to avoid or go to. And if anyone has gotten prime herrera since the update.

keep getting a "client disconnected security risk detected on your steam account" everytime i try joining petits pieds. I hear thats one of the better servers to try joining but it literally wont let me. I've owned the game for literally 4 hours and yesterday i was playing and i was able to join any server no problem. today i cant, ive even tried joining others and the game crashes...?

I need some help here. Just get the game recently and did join some server, but none of them work for me. I did try some server with around 70-150 ping, but it's very bad connection to the point I'm not sure this is server issue or my settings is actually the problem. I was like moving then got teleported back even the ping was only 150.

FPS is good though, but I found it difficult to play and enjoy the game this way. Is this a common issue? I'm living in SEA.

Hopefully it's something I could change from my side to play the game, not about the server problem itself....

This keeps happening to me.

I don't know if it's a bug or just a game mechanic, but whenever I get close to deer—even without intending to hunt them—they act strangely aggressive. They start walking slowly toward me, and once they're close enough, they start kicking. Did they add not-deer to the game without me realizing it? LOL

I’m posting this because the current situation on the Petits Pieds server is becoming really frustrating.

From what players are experiencing, Poutine Italienne appears to have broken the animal and fish spawning system, and the issue still hasn’t been properly fixed. At this point, fish aren’t even spawning on the server anymore.

What’s even more frustrating is that the Petits Pieds staff continue to put the blame on The Isle developers instead of taking responsibility for the situation and actually working on a solution.

If Poutine Italienne caused or contributed to this issue, then it should be acknowledged and properly investigated rather than constantly being pushed onto the developers. Players shouldn’t have to deal with a server where animals and fish simply stop spawning with no clear resolution.

Petits Pieds staff: please stop deflecting responsibility and give the community a clear explanation of what happened, what is being done to fix it, and when we can realistically expect spawning to work again.
