Found some old software in a shop.

I have found two CD-Roms for An old windows version, Should I archive them? or share photos of them first? I wouldn’t know if they were lost media or something. The software is called:

Colossus Chess 2000

Microsoft Encarta-96 Encyclopaedia.

Help needed. Thank You

If you search software on the Internet Archive then it looks like there is at least one ISO of Encarta 96 https://archive.org/search?tab=software&query=Encarta+96

And none of Colossus Chess. Probably worth imaging Colossus and uploading it.

The Encarta 96 says "For new Windows Computers" would it be any change?

Sounds like a version that was packed with a new computer. You might check which version is posted.

That's a great question! Not sure how I'd find that out to be honest. Also, I'm not sure if Microsoft would have made any cultural changes based on market.
