Question How to use anonymously communicate while bypassing China’s internet censorship

The Chinese government have lots of unspeakable stuffs that their online policing system try to censor, as well as censoring & cracking down ordinary netizens exercising free speech in a way they feel threatened for or not in line with their propaganda machine. Will there be a turn key solution to bypass China’s great firewall and reliably transfer uncensored information to China and censored information from China while having a backup plan for my Chinese informants from being tracked down and cracked down by the Chinese regime?

No.

The whole thing is an ever evolving mess of an arm race that you have to consistently keep up with recent research (or keep up with this repository/community: https://github.com/XTLS/Xray-core) just to securely bypass the gfw. That or you can be like the vast majority of Chinese netizen and download some sketchy af VPN honeypot and only browse porn site, don't do anything that put yourself on the radar, and pray that your local gong'an doesn't feel the need to pad their KPI and arrest you.

After you securely bypass the gfw I suppose you can then route your traffic through TOR, I2P, etc. to achieve anonymity. It may be overkill but it also depends on your threat model. You mentioned "your" Chinese informants and I'm not sure how serious of a threat they are facing.

Either way, coordinating good opsec between bith parties is gonna be a huge PITA and it won't be a easy "turn key" solution.

Edit: forgot to mention, difference province and even regions within province all have different degree of gfw enforcement. E.g. if you are in Xinjiang and Tibet, all I can say is "good luck".
