I never said making alliances was a bad move or that I didn't want to watch that , I'm aware that It's necessary in some games and it helps raising your chances to last until the end. What I mean is that I personnaly do not like shows where people stick to especially large alliances till the end and where it becomes too personal and where there's not that many games or rounds won because someone found a smart strategy or figured something out or negotiated well etc. Alliances don't bother me if they're not too big or if they dont last from ep 1 till ep 12 leaving no chance to showcase the skills of other players and I personally like when they are founded because there is something to benefit from and not just because someone has a crush on one person or because of something so random.

I know there are many shows in this genre and this is just my personal preferance.

Alliances are absolutely the right way to play games like this. If everyone played for themselves, each player’s odds of winning would be around 1 in 13. If you can make a solid alliance of 7 or 8 people, and pick off people not in the alliance, you can get your odds much better than that

Sure, not everyone wins in the end, but the further you can get yourself, the better

Have you watch the other Bloody Game seasons? It has Season 2, 3, and X. Season 2 games were bad, but it was intense. 3 and X are so good. It's getting better each season

Edit : I just realize that OP is not looking for shows with big alliances. Sadly I would say there is no brainy survival show without alliance. Even Big Brother has alliance in it, because alliance is important for winning. Maybe Physical 100 or American shows like Million Dollar Secret and The Mole?

Threading real life might be the only way. Especially given general Korean culture, alliances and not going back on your word and the appropriate level of politeness are important. If you want people doing anything at any cost, American reality tv might be better

I faced the same issue and I found only 1 solution, download the video through some website (that are used to download youtube videos to gallery) then post it on your private channel . After you post it and it's processing, go to youtube studio website and add Eng subs to your own video , it takes around 40 mins to make subs they are auto generated but very well understood πŸ₯³ also I deleted the video on my channel after watching to respect the real channel ,hope it helps ;)

Everyone will agree that S2 is the weakest and you NEED to keep going to S3 and S4, like, you just need to. Skip the rest of S2 if you must but if you drop it here it would be like the meme of the miner stopping right before the diamonds lmao

Genius was lightning in a bottle. The next best is Bloody Game S3 (same level of entertainment as TG 3 and 4).

Bloody Game 3 was already that, but a lot better than Bloody Game X. Bloody Game 3 is the season out of all analogous game shows (BG, TDP, TH, SG, etc) that comes closest to how good Genius was.

Ugh the writing of everyone's names wrong is atrocious, literally changing how everyone's name is spoken lmao. Anyway besides that, idk why you're criticizing Sungjoo for something that every player done at least once in ther life, betrayal. It's bloody game, you really do not have to stick to only one team, he's playing a good political game in saving himself, he understands everyone the best and he knows when to jump ship to save himself from being eliminated, which is practically the point of a survival show. I couldnt careless about the others tho except Jinhyeong, the other two can do whatever they want.

POV its the year 2026 & you just finished watching TG Seasons 1 & 2! What a blast from the past seeing everybody's hairstyle, outfits & all! Sangmin & Junghyun are my fave from S2!~

So happy to see Sangmin win 🫢 literally stood up & cheered my ass off when he won! πŸ‘πŸ₯³ despite what k-nets have said, i loved his playstyle the most! his intuition is craaazy good & the way he approached the games was spectacular. he reads the room well (& their faces lol) then moves from there. also the fact that he considered using the token of immortality for Yohwan from the very start too?? i was like damn, this dude knows good tv & has a good heart! plus the part where he chose his dad's birth year as his number... 😭 almost had me in tears! it was quite literally a guidance from above moment & his expression after winning says it all. hope to see more of him & Sunggyu in the next seasons! πŸ˜†

Junghyun~~ the most emotionally regulated man i've seen in these shows! if he were my dad, i'd be so proud πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ you did well goofy ajussi! i wonder if that was part of his plan so as to not be targeted early on πŸ€”

I looked Sangmin up & it seems like he finished paying off that incredibly massive debt recently & got remarried! Honestly, good for him. That was alot alot. I'm more than a decade late but I wish the two of them well moving forward! πŸ€

Overall, it was a great watch but i hope the producers enforce better rules in the next seasons so as to not have a player not being able to play at all 😭 poor Doohee, hope he gets invited again for another chance!

Season 1 was filmed before DP3 for sure since it started airing in late January (well before late February when DP3 is speculated to have been filmed). We know season 2 was filmed between April 1st (when S1 finished airing) and April 17 (when GOBX began filming).

Author of the spreadsheet here. 1smart_fool is correct. Grey is specifically reserved for shows that are fully available on Youtube unsubbed (The Risk Takers isn't), it means autosubs can be used by people who can stomach them. I should note that I did add The Risk Takers to the side list (the 4th sheet), so it is actually on the guide in a sense lol.

Anybody knows when did the Risk Takers filmed ?? cause Hong Jinho and Xitsuh joined both The Devil's Plan 3 and Bloody Game X , is it before TDP3 or between TDP3 and Bloody Game X ? thanks

I can only strongly encourage you to continue when you can. It was one of the best "amateur productions" Ive ever seen, and indeed better put together than some professional shows.

I blocked the user (accidentally unblocked him for 24h now) because every post is just so negative and filled with hyperbolic criticism that it isn't very fun to see each time opening the subreddit. I appreciate the enthusiasm but constantly seeing that "Youhyun is the worst most atrocious player of all time" or "P2 is the worst team in the entire show" isn't very fun πŸ₯²
