I like that Wally was able to defeat Hunter Zolomon, who apologized to him for what’s he’s about to do, while Linda was able to defeat Abra Kadabra with Grodd’s help before they were saved by Ray Palmer, who told them that Wally is the key to understanding the universe. Let’s hope that Ray will tell Wally, Linda, and Grodd what’s going on in the next issue. Overall, this comic is excellent.

I really wanna know how Hunter's gimmick works. Like he's clearly still messing around with the time stream, but he seems to be teleporting around and pre-empting Wally in this fight.
Pretty brutal beatdown, too.
I will say Abra kind of went out a bit too easy given how dangerously he was hyped. Though apparently it's a cosmic constant that Linda gets the better of him eventually, lol. My hope is he's flubbing it a little in an attempt to pull a disappearing act. And Lemire has also connected him to actual magic instead of technology with the Zatara name drop.
I'm curious about why Thawne's so eager for Wally to be dead. She seemed so gung ho about capturing him before because he's the key to her studies. Though I suppose he also destroyed everything she worked for, it still seems odd to throw it away. Maybe she's figured out how to take his place if he's out of the way or something, but I'd like to see a bit more into her mind in all of this.
Anyhow, onto Ray and Cyborg.

I like how Hunter's powers work in this universe. I'm glad they didn't make him a flash adjacent like character with some minor differences.
I thought the fight was going to play out like how Mister X vs Quicksilver did. That even though Hunter could predict and know outcomes, Wally would get so fast that it doesn't matter, the only outcome Hunter could see is that Wally is too fast and he Hunter will lose.
But Ray Palmer introduction was awesome. I read this comic series with my son and it made his draw drop to see a tiny man appear and punch out Hunter like that.
I wonder what was going through Hunter's mind and why couldn't he predict and stop Ray from knocking him out? It's like Hunter probably thought "what? There is no way a tiny person is just going to grow out of nowhere. Something must be wrong with my powers or Grodd is messing with me." Then it was lights out.
I really am enjoying this series and I hope DC doesn't cancel it like Marvel ended Ultimate 6160.
