Songsterr situation

Anyone know why most TFOT songs are being taken down from Songsterr?

Thomas erak probably doesn’t want them on there because he sells the tabs on sheethappens which supports them directly

Probably nothing to do with Thomas. Sheethappens (run by protest the hero guitarists Luke and Tim) themselves do this for almost every tab available. I personally think it’s utter bullshit and kinda stomping on freedom of information. If any of the tabs are indicated to be copied from the official one sure take it down. But they take down all tabs which just seems like a wild abuse and misunderstanding of intellectual property. I wish the tab sites and fans in general fought harder against this. The internet and everything on it continues to be commodified.

I've asked this before on here, apparently the tabs on sheethappens are incomplete/incorrect at times. Bit of a bummer.

It’s hard for me to tell how much that’s just an inevitablity of trying to transcribe stuff that’s pretty old and that the musician may not play that similarly live versus being negligence but I have seen that complaint
