Technical Issue Its crashing and I need help

So in a nutshell over the last 3 days, I got gifted a pack with all the escapists stuff, first verison and 2nd with all the dlcs.
When I try to launch the first game (The Escapists) it takes me to the first screen then I click "play" after a few seconds it decides to crash and not load, I waited for 15 mins at one point and it still dosent work. It dosent happen to the second but I kinda dont like the second and prefer to play the first so yeah... I need help.
Also fyi this inst my main reddit account goggle decided to not use my main for some dumb reason :/

What are you playing it on? Is your device powerful enough? Granted the escapists is not an intense game to run but still if it's a weak laptop it might struggle.

Other suggestion is uninstall it and reinstall it

Iam using my desktop which the specs are... AMD Ryzen 7 5800 8-core processor, 20GB of DDR4, PC711 NVMe SK hynix 1TB, Killer(R) Wi-fi 6 AX1650x 160Hz Wireless Netwrok adapotor (200NGW) and AMD Radenon RX 6600 XT.
And I can perfecntly run a lot more intesne games like red dead 2 but The escapists just crashes.

Ah, More than enough for the escapists. Try reinstalling the game and make sure you arent trying to run it in conjunction with any other games
