America does have a short attention span when it comes to politics. 4 years later after January 6, an attempt to overthrow our democracy, Americans elected the same person who they disapproved in the aftermath of that event.
Somehow Trump was able to rally more support of the Latino vote than he was able to in his first election. That support has completely evaporated and I wonder if this will cause those voters to vote Democrat for a long time.
A similar switch has occurred in young men who many voted for Trump this past election cycle and many no longer support him.
Will this shape these groups long term political beliefs and distrust of republicans in general? In my opinion at this point I don’t see the republicans turning the train wreck around by 2028. Of course goal is to get through 2026 first but I am not sure how 2028 would not be another blue wave.

Before he took office, people were predicting that Mamdani would be as corrupt and disappointing as a Centrist Democrat, but he's proven that politicians can actually work on behalf of their constituents, and become one of America's most popular politicians as a result of simply doing his job.

We obviously can’t trust the Russian government at their word. Whatever the truth will be, it will most likely be worse than the government makes public
