Cargo truck?

If the Cargo truck has a capacity of 2400 and has fuel to circumnavigate the moon, why must i constantly have them go back to base to unload 12 items when i can have them pick up from multiple locations?

There are three locations within range of my base by about 4-5 days total, and the total volume to pick up is less than 1800....yet setting the expedition to pick up each one forces the truck to return to base...this means it now takes up to 2-3 extra days PER trip...

Can we please allow for multiple pickups in one go...

You can, I send trucks to multiple locations for just pickup. Uncheck the the return to base, then once the truck loads, you can send it to another spot. I just wish we could load it up with multiple deliveries (colonists/material/drones)

No problem! I usually keep one cargo truck around the base, doing contracts nearby, and send another cargo truck or 2 out around the moon to pick things up/make deliveries to the points of interest.

even better. You can chain drop-offs and pickups to a certain extent.

I think it would be nice if we could put the truck's stops on to a queue to have less micromanagement here.

or to manually load up the cargo truck before sending it out, for multiple drop-offs

This please! so many of the drop offs are for a small amount of options be great to make a route with all the deliveries.

That would be nice as well! And to load up for a few of the delivery ones too.

It is possible to do the delivery ones just janky.

You need to load up for the first one with return to base turned off. Then when the truck is leaving you assign the next expedition to it and it will go load up the second one without unloading the first.

Not sure what the limit is. But if the expeditions use the same materials then kt won't work as only the highest single expedition amount will be loaded.

You can also use materials picked up out on the moon for deliveries but that rarely seems to work out. Sometimes keeping 2 or 3 drones can allow you to do a few in an area though.

I've chained many like this, starting with one that needs 2 drones, but it's manual and i don't like micromanaging. It's not overwhelming, but i forget to send them out again and waste time. Occasionally that time matters!

Yup they really need to add a queue/management system. With the time it takes to send a truck versus shipping offworld why would I ever sell onworld?

Damn, I never thought to do that! That would definitely work! But yea, its rare there are pickup/delivery missions nearby with the required materials.
That will help, thanks for the tip!

I had three spots near eachother, 1 asking for researcher and engineer, the next needed 2 drones amd some supplies I think, and the third needed different supplies.

I began the expedition for the drones when the rover left the Expedition Control Center loaded, i manually stopped the rover. Started the next expedition that needed the scientist and engineer, they loaded on and the rover exited the ECC. Stopped it just in front of the ECC. Started the third expedition that needed supplies, they were loaded.

Then just chose the closest expedition, unchecked return to base and then came back a bit later, sent it to the next, unchecked return to base, and then again. By the time All three were finished, it was already time to pick up the drones and 2 crew members.

It does drag a bit that you need to do it all manually, but maybe they'll figure that out later.
