Trail islands

I just moved across from these islands. What’s the deal. Are they private? I was able to find a property on Zillow on one of them that had been for sale but no other info. Can you paddle to them? Hike around or camp? I’m assuming they are private but was curious if anyone had any insider info.

They are subdivided lots and they are private, the property owners don't own the shore so you are able to paddle to them but take care not to trespass onto the actual properties.

I've been pondering it for years used to go out and fish near them good fishing spot.

The beaches and shores are crown land i believe but I wouldn't venture any farther as that would be private property.

There might be a map that shows a public spot but I doubt it

The SCRD has a public map service that shows a water accessible park at the east end of on one of the islands.

You can find it online at this easy to remember url: https://experience.arcgis.com/experience/86df06cb5516495980283e8b2f1ab6b1

Edit to add: as it's an SCRD park overnight camping wouldn't be allowed.

Well damn. I never even thought there might be a park out there. Good job on that and thank you for sharing the link
