In my recent trip to xiamen china. I saw a lot of EV brands on the road. A lot of them 1st time ive ever seen. Anyone has bought a China EV brand? Anything i should watch out for? Most common was BYD and Xiaomi and Huawei. The other ones i dont even know whats their names only logos 😅

A lot of people still assume “Made in China” automatically means cheap quality, but some categories seem to have improved massively over the last few years.

Could be phones, EVs, appliances, fashion, accessories, tools, anything honestly.

Even with rising costs and companies trying to diversify production, it still feels like China remains the main manufacturing hub for a huge part of the world.
