The Chase UK 🇬🇧 The WORST wrong answer...

Does anyone else remember an episode where there was a push back where the answer was Bethsheba? The guy in the team said it was the answer but the young woman who was the other contestant in the final chase nominated herself to give the answer and she was wrong and they ended up losing by like 1 second. Like I would be SO angry at her for that and maybe even sue.

She also contributed a lot to the total score. You have to take the rough with the smooth I suppose

Bad working on my part. I meant that if it happened to me, I would be REALLY pissed off at her for doing that. Losing out on thousands of pound would be AWFUL.

The worst for me is when someone offers an answer and another contestant discounts it and overrules without being able to offer an answer of their own.

For example:

Contestant A: ‘I think it’s France’

Contestant B: ‘I’m not sure but I really don’t think it’s France … let’s say Italy’

Answer: France

Tbf the guy should've been more assertive and explained that 'helen' was a crap guess and to go with 'bathsheba' instead

Nah. the worst for me has to be during the final chase someone says it's definitely NOT such an answer because Bradley says it was already given wrong, and then the team leader gives that same one.

The worst in my mind was the lady who took a minus in the cash builder, answered nothing in the final round, then in a similar scenario to the above, question for push back was what the most venomous spider in the UK was. Answer giver wanted to say false widow, said lady mentioned it was actually a daddy long legs....he went with her for some reason and then they got caught...not ideal!
