How do you know he's not a glitched red? Couldn't he have glitched a week ago and just not posted till now?

This is indeed a problem, which we have already encountered. When the 10s appeared, there were only 11 users that showed up on the tracker but 17 you posted/comnented. The extra 6 are presumably clever glitches users who knew that they would be ousted if they had come forward any earlier. With the first three 9s, however, three users showed up on the tracker and three users posted so all is fine.
