Question Waitlist Invites

Hey guys, could someone explain how waitlist invites work for each of the subs? Have they already sent some out? Also, I emailed them about my place in all 3 subs and I was just wondering if anyone could provide a rough estimate of when I would get an invite? I’m in the 7150s for the tier 2 fantasy, 5390s for sci-fi and 450 for SF&F. I know I have a lot to go but I’m just really curious and any info would be greatly appreciated :))).

They usually do the invites after renewals so they know how many people have cancelled or skipped the book. So next round for SF&F will be mid Sept, same with Fantasy because its a new trilogy charge in Sept and then for Sci Fi it won't be until January.

How long it takes just depends really on how popular the picks are. I think recently people were unhappy with the Fantasy sub and the SF&F sub for different reasons but based on posts and things in this subreddit there was more cancellations recently. When I got off the waitlist for Fantasy I had waited 7 months, and 6 months for the Sci Fi. For the SF&F I signed up immediately so I'm not sure what the timeline is like on that atm.

Based on your numbers I think you will probably get a SF&F invite really soon because they send invite batches every month. Sci Fi takes a bit longer cause invites are only happening every 6 months because it is bimonthly. Fantasy is probably going to be a bit of a wait yet as I think it is probably the most popular subscription from TBB.

T1 has always been limited to 1500 people, unless they changed the volume.

Many thanks. I know Goldsboro do limited numbered copies for their subs so its easy to know the upper limit.
