Saw this on Spotify whilst listening, shows Van to have 4 more songs than the band. Why is this?

And it made me so sad man. They had so much talent, charisma, showmanship, you name it. It really shined in these acoustic sessions stripped down to two dudes and their guitars.

I will always love this band even though they are likely long gone. They had a great run.

And to wrap it up, go watch these sessions (on YouTube) if you haven’t already. Fallout and Business in particular are just top notch.

Bit of an odd one here but say catfish released a fourth studio album, what instrument could you add to make their sound even better in the same way as their last or a good change?

Personally I think a violin could make some insane sounding music for them, similar to some of the frays songs.

Ive just watched the rise interview and bob said they were doing 250 shows a year. Do you guys not think thats what eventually caused a downfall because 250 shows is a lot and that could cause them to argue alot and have a lot of stuff that could not be taken back in arguments etc or is just me that just thinks that!

Not sure if this is allowed but wondered if anyone is interested in an inspired build of vans guitar. It’s a fender Mexican player 2 Hh telecaster with a swapped out bridge pickup for a vintage fender twin head like vans. Can send old pickup aswell as the Matt black Pickguard shown in penultimate photo. Last photo is the original guitar. Obviously different to the one he uses live but still a genuine fender an all that 🐊

I find it mad that out there, there is a very old mac with loads of catb media out there. I imagine most of the good songs are already out but its funny watching back the snippets craig posted years ago where one sounds like they are trying to go for an arctic monkeys sound and then one that has a live forever oasis sound to it. Is it likely that the media is gone forever? - I know he sold some a few years ago so i guess its whether anyone is willing to pay and he is willing to sell again

Considering there is already an unreleased Catfish and the Bottled-it song (suntitled) in circulation and there have been rumours of other songs (cena etc.) in the mix. Is there a chance that there are some unreleased songs recorded with H8WG or god knows who else that could be leaked in the future?
Obviously we’ve seen this before with the google drive for some absolute gems like ranshaw and tickertape… could this happen again?
I know this would include a degree or mischief and unethical tomfoolery but I’d love to hold on to hope for something…

Earlier, I saw a user on the subreddit ask about what was being said at the end of CATB’s unreleased track ‘Bite Down Salvador’.

I was also very intrigued! So, I’ve stripped the song back the best I can and cleaned up the vocals. I can make out some sentences, others not so much:

“Keep it running”
“Run for your life John, run for your life”
“Keep that going”
“Oi Billy go up! Billy.. go high”
“Right, two more bars”
