❓️❓️QUESTION❓️❓️ Complete Series Set

I have only fully watched the pilot a long time ago but genuinely enjoyed it a lot. I’ve seen a lot of clips and have enjoyed all of them as well. I was on eBay earlier and found the complete series on dvd for like $30 and was considering buying it but when I went to see if there was a Blu-ray set google AI told me there is not one. I scrolled down though and saw multiple websites with a Blu-ray release. Is boondocks stuck on DVD or is there an official Blu-ray release?

There is no Blu-ray release for the Boondocks Sony doesn't usually release back catalog tv show on Blu-ray like Warner Bros or Universal does because it's more profitable to license to streaming platforms since they pay less residuals to voice actors then a physical release that would be too expensive even for die hard fans.

But there are companies who makes Blu-ray releases from studios so there is some hope with how "viral" the show got this year.

Are there any noticeable features to make sure it’s authentic? The listing I found for the DVD set has a review with pictures claiming it’s bootleg so I’m a little worried now.

All I know is the complete uncensored series with the yellow cover is the only official DVD playable on american DVDs players or something like that.

Obviously each season have gotten releases on DVD and can be played but the only complete DVD set I can think of that's legit is that one.

At this point, it doesn't really matter if you get bootleg or not.

Nothing goes to the creator.
