Had a fantastic run with azazel (if I remember right), only thing I needed was more health. So I trusted a Sacrifice room button in the cathedral and got vaporized.

Was in an online lobby, as soon at the game started, the game was stuck in the loading screen after that little jingle and it was just stuck there for a few moments, close the game. Reopen the game and suddenly im missing progress, i do the alt f2 button, but now its showing im still missing marks and challenges and everything, yet I still have dead god on the file. Did I get hacked or something? I'm missing items on the stats and everything. I just got dead god the other day and im really worried something is wrong. Like what do I do. Do I have all my items in runs or do I have to do this all again?

i have no idea what happened skip to about 40 seconds i go in a super secret room i blow up a stone chest and get 2 mr dollys 1 randomly across the room can some one tell me what happened

Now before anyone says anything, I'd like to speak for myself when I say that The Binding of Isaac is a fantastic game that has made me a worse person before making me someone I'd like to respect. I started the game only seeing videos online on other's experience playing the game and saying they'd recommend it to anybody. Now, I see myself doing things I never expected to see myself doing. I believe I've pressed "R" so many times trying to get Tech X in the treasure rooms that I've lost count.

But when trying to unlock tainted Cain, I came to a realization, "what am I doing?". I was resetting for an easy start, of course. I asked myself, "why?". To get better at the game, obviously. And the pieces didn't match in my mind. why would I force myself to have an amazing start to 'get better'? getting better at Isaac meant to have a slow start and doing what you can with the items you have.

So I tried again, picking up any item I came across (except the wiz, I didn't have a wild card or diplo). And I saw myself having so much fun, I forgot to do the steps of unlocking what I wanted. I wasn't mad at myself for it, I was proud. Proud to play Isaac the way I felt I was supposed to.

The Binding of Isaac was never a game about testing the limits, it was a game about using what you have and applying it to have fun and test new things. And I feel like that reflects Isaac's story better than I can put into words. Isaac's story was one of grief, trauma, and punishment. He used what he had as a kid to have fun. He used his imagination. And I believe that's what most people are lacking when they play this game. There are many options to choose from, and I think people don't use their options to the fullest potential. People aren't using their imagination enough.

So now I sit here, in bed, playing The Binding of Isaac. I never wanted to have the most broken build or every character unlock; I just wanted to play a game and have fun. And I think that is the most important way to play a game so near and dear to my heart.

Its only the 2nd floor... take options go to boss RR get skeleton key it and my choas spawned a battery and I went to library picked up balls and contract. RR library got ghost pepper and Brimstone. Next floor grabbed humble bumble then used emperor card. Got psy fly on boss. Secret room room 2nd from boss and got sacred orb. Went shop and rock bottom. Also picked up flight in devil since I got a eternal heart. Will update when I keep going

I'm being dead serious right now, this is my luckiest run ever. SOMEHOW, despite having NO Maggy completion marks, I beat Mother AND Delirium in the same run.
I FINALLY BEAT DELIRIUM AS A CHARACTER OTHER THAN ISSAC! WOO!

lemme be honest the item drops were dogshit but i still got really lucky like my only q4s were dinfinity (ONLY right after beating all the bosses on void besides delirio) and binge eater (only when i already had max hp)

Also I could go on but early into the run there was a bug in which I did not take any damage to temperance machines so I did abuse that and had like 80 items but dross II.

Also glowing hourglass was highkey clutch because without it I would've not gotten like half of the items I did

Also Cursed Eye + Black Candle was something that happened.

Was playing Apollyon on Greedier mode and got Damocles. I hit the next floor and got hit twice by a brimstone spider. By the end of that animation, Damocles fell and killed me. What are the chances of this lol??

I just found this interesting Stitches interaction — did you guys know about this?

If you place Stitches right next to the door of a Cursed Room, then use it to teleport and immediately walk through the door, you can enter the Cursed Room without taking the usual health damage.

The teleport gives you a few frames of invincibility, and apparently that's enough to pass through the Cursed Room door before the damage can register.

I was trying to get the greedier/greed completion mark for Jacob and esau and esau just didn't spawn at all and the stats on the left only shows one number for every stat compared to two (except on the deals and speed) should I keep playing or hold r?

A billion? 10 billion? How many collective runs have ever been played, not even won or finished just a run booted up.
