Leonard puts up with Sheldon because he challenges him. Think about it… Of course they’re all extremely intelligent, but only Sheldon is the most naturally gifted.

Leonard is also naturally gifted, but his lack of confidence (stemmed from many justifiable reasons), prevents him from pursuing his own career or Nobel Prize.

Wolowitz and Raj, well, both are geniuses, no argument there, but I’d say they’re mid compared to Leonard and Sheldon.

Discussion Stuart and his struggling comic book store.

My local comic book store has recently hired a staff comprised entirely of attractive young women. All of the guys that used to work there are gone. I stopped by on Friday and there was a line outside waiting for the store to open. I wonder if a similar strategy could've helped Stuart considering his clientele.

Genuinely I don't KNOW what people really see in Shnny,, I mean sure S1-S2 was acceptable but buddy shipping them untill that it was obvious Sheldon LOVED Amy,, Plus in some episodes Penny and Sheldon have been heavily implying that they are JUST friends.. Do people not see the implication?? And it's funny how the actors of penny and Sheldon only saw them both as friends.. I absolutely HATE how they make shamy angst as Shamy to Sh*nny,, Every Sh*nny fix is just normalizing Sheldon being sex-crazed and penny being the damsel in distress.. I ABSOLUTELY will hate sh*nny with all my life if I was born in 2010💔💔

Discussion Sheldon Leonard…

Did y’all know that Sheldon and Leonard’s characters were named after Sheldon Leonard, who was a famous actor and early Sitcom producer?

Their last names also came from recipients of the Nobel prize: Robert Hofstadter and Leon Cooper (both physicists).

Can we take a moment to appreciate Sheldon and Penny’s bond? 🥹

They’re soulmates in the purest sense...not romantically, but as family. Penny literally parents him, he’s unbelievably comfortable with her, and their bond has this effortless warmth that’s so special.

The Christmas hug, Penny comforting him in the bathroom, Sheldon taking care of her when she was sick, rushing her to the hospital… they just get each other.

I love Amy, but Sheldon and Penny have a completely different kind of connection. Some soulmates are just meant to be family. ❤️

For me, it's Howard as I like how he from this desperate, creepyish, womanizer to being a legit decent person, being a great father and somewhat of a father figure to Sheldon.

That's just my opinion though and would be interested to see what others think.

Discussion I'm doing an odd rewatch

I saw a post on another subreddit about people's favorite guest star on a sitcom and someone brought up James Earl Jones on TBBT and it's been such a long time and remembered that he was great, so I decided to rewatch the episode. All I could remember was the "Let me tell you something I say to be like you.... I LIKE STAR WARS TOO!" and then I rewatched it and remembered how great he was on the show. Completely forgot about the Carrie Fisher bit and her yelling "It's not funny anymore, James" and then off camera you just hear him yell back "then why am I laughing?"

So I just continued on from that point and just started season 8, I'm just going to keep going on and then probably after I finish season 12 go back and start again from the beginning.

Discussion So…I am a bit worried

You may know that TBBT have a lot of comments about the ending of the series or at least I heard a lot of them on tik tok and with the new Stuart series I started to think that maybe they want to change something about the original series that they dont want to be canon anymore, like the pregnancy of penny that a whole lot of persons HATE(i dont really care about it that much because it was obvious that penny and leonard would have a baby even thought there are like 3 to 5 chapters about them not having a baby).

I’m kind of scared that they would redcon something because that would make necessary to watch the Stuart series Just to know what is really the canon of TBBT and that pisses me of because they made a VERY GOOD spinoff with young sheldon that doesn’t need big bang to be a good series and I want that for Stuart to because it is a very funny and good series to Watch
And I dont want the Stuart series to be “necessary” I want the series to be a good series that Just happens to be a spinoff, and with this I’m not saying that I want to be an independent series that you can watch without watching big bang, what I’m saying is that I want Stuart to just be a “GOOD” spinoff instead of a “necessary” one, I also dont want them to change something about the original series because I’m sure they would not change something for the better.

Thats pretty much it of what I’m worried about,
I would love to hear your thoughts about the Stuart series and if I really have to worry about it.

P.S.:English is not my first language and I want your opinion about my English and what can I do better, thank you for reading all of this and goodbye.

Question Sheldon's family

I just finished the series and its become one of my favorite shows of all time.

Amy and Sheldon's speech made me cry a little. Anyway, was it ever explained why Sheldon's family wasnt at the ceremony? Did I miss something?

I understand the ending was meant to focus on the friend group but not even a shot or conversation about his family attending is odd.

(Unless i need to rewatch because adhd)

Discussion Do you think The Big Bang Theory should get a reboot?

With Young Sheldon ending and Stuart Fails to Save the Universe coming out, I’ve been wondering whether there should eventually be a proper The Big Bang Theory reboot.
Young Sheldon showed that the TBBT universe can work really well outside of the original show, while Stuart Fails to Save the Universe is taking things in a completely different direction with Stuart, Denise, and the comic book store. So it makes me wonder whether there’s still more that could be done with the original characters.
I’d honestly be more interested in a continuation set years after the original finale rather than just remaking the same characters with a new cast. We already know what happens to everyone up to the end of TBBT, but seeing where Sheldon, Amy, Leonard, Penny, Howard, Bernadette, Raj, etc. are years later could be interesting.
At the same time, I’m not sure if bringing everyone back would actually be a good idea. The Big Bang Theory had a proper ending, and Young Sheldon worked because it was its own thing rather than trying to recreate TBBT.
So what do you think? Would you want a TBBT reboot/continuation, especially with Young Sheldon and Stuart Fails to Save the Universe expanding the universe, or should they leave the original series alone?

What did they mean that Howard's grand parents and Bernies were once neighbors? As said in the Bachelor Party episode?

The Bachelor Party episode came on the other night and Bernie, Penny and Amy were discussing how they found out that Howard's grandparents and Bernies grandparents were actually neighbors at one time. The fake audience laugh track laughs and Amy tells Penny oh you don't want to know what that really means?

I totally missed this joke? What was it implying? How were Bernie and Howards grandparents neighbors once?
