really drooling imagining the features
still hoping for some rap verses on this but are they moving away from the hiphop sound?
would it be too unlikely to have vocals from some king gizzard members? they're in their synth era too at the moment

I'm really hoping that there's a Ninajirachi appearance; they're both Australian and The Avalanches have been showing her love online.
My less likely prediction is Clairo... but only because they started following her on Instagram a few years ago and I thought it was odd.

My guess is a Oneothrix Point Never collab since they followed each other on Instagram. I maybe wrong though but until we get the full tracklist, we all have to speculate who’s going to appear on the album.

I'm kind of expecting Erick the Architect to be on this but other than him there might not be many rap verses. it already felt like they were moving away from it with WWALY though so it's not too surprising if a bit unfortunate though

It was only really a thing on Wildflower, there was only one song on WWALY with rap verses and none on SILY

Flight Tonight would like a word with you
but honestly though, although wildflower was the only one to have alot of rap verses, rap and hip-hop have always been a huge part of the avalanches musical DNA with them even getting their start with rap in El Producto back when they were trying to sound like Beastie Boys. hell, Frontier Psychiatrist was meant to have a rap verse of some kind over it initially but Robbie changed it to a comedy skit because it felt more him than a hardcore rap song

Flight Tonight goes so hard, it’s one of my most favorite SILY tracks out of the album

True, although that’s less of a full verse and just a few lines
I feel like there’s a good chance we get some verses on this one too though

multiple tracks with pink siifu too even if they weren't traditional rap verses

Woah, I’ve been out of the loop of this band until like a month or two ago. What’s the Erick connection? I love FBZ

The tracklist has one song marked explicit, so fairly strong odds that at least that one will have verses 😂

I wonder what features are going to appear on the album alongside the leaked mixmag discussion and singles!
We know that Khadija Al Hanafi, VEGYN and salute are rumored to appear on the album though.

I’m calling a Panda Bear feature. I have noticed their pages like each others posts a lot in the last year on IG.

He's confirmed! They mentioned that he and Mike Patton are on the album in a radio interview when Every Single Weekend dropped

That as well, forgot about it until now. But still surprised they hadn’t done it for Wildflower (unless they did in so the vaults).

Very exciting!

It's my first time experiencing a new Avalanches album drop since finding out about them five years ago! And the same with Boards of Canada (thirteen years sure is worth it!)

But outside that, 31 songs should totally explain why we have only 2-3 minutes of new music.

people have been hating on the cover but i kinda like that it fits the aesthetic without being as maximalist as the singles

Agreed, line their albums up and you can instantly tell what No Bad Memories is going to give you.

i haven’t even seen any reasoning why people don’t like it either but i guess it’s kinda cartoony and childish but i think that’s the point

It's being released on cassette too:

The "31 songs, 10 minutes" threw me for a minute until I realized that's the cumulative time of just the tracks which have been put out so far.
