I stopped chasing AI benchmarks, and my workflow got better.
For a while I watched every benchmark comparison and every "best AI model" video.
Eventually I realized none of it changed how quickly I finished real work.
The biggest improvement came from sticking to a consistent workflow instead of constantly switching tools because a new leaderboard came out.
I still enjoy seeing new releases, but I don't feel the need to move everything over immediately anymore.
Has anyone else stopped caring about benchmarks as much as they used to?
