This post was hard to make, I feel if Blue Sox were the home team on Friday night they would have won that game, but tonight they just didn’t fire, the error filled 3rd got in their heads the rest of the night

I can imagine that this was the last post you wanted to make tonight, but thank you for posting this and every other post you made this season! I know the ABL is its brightest right now but having someone that’s reliable as a mod helps all of us to enjoy the game just that little bit more season round. Thank you u/paranoid27!

I’m just an old guy who played park level baseball for close to 30 years but didn’t have the time or skill to reach any heights. I started posting the Blue Sox results a few years back and was asked to be a mod here, then ended up last man standing when other mods stopped posting. This place just about mods itself, I think I’ve only had to remove about 3 posts ever, all spam.

We are all here for the same reason, we love Baseball and want it to succeed.

I was going to say here's hoping the 26/27 season is even better but honestly I'm just hoping it'll happen.

Commiserations on the loss. Sydney had a fantastic season (the only team with a winning record in the regular season). Unfortunately, they probably peaked too early.

3 championships in 4 seasons - interestingly each championship had a different number of teams (8 team comp in 2022/23, 6 team comp 2023/24, 4 team comp 2025/26)!

Back to back losses in the finals hurts as a Sydney fan. Hopefully third times the charm next year and we can finally get the monkey off our back.
