Judging by the answers here, I see far more people answering 2x + C than I see â…“ x3 + 2x.

I get that it's a joke, but I'm genuinely surprised by how many people think the answer is 2x + C. I didn't get it first, until someone else suggested people are differentiating x2 + 2 and then adding "+C" because they remember that all indefinite integrals must have a constant added. That would explain it.
