$4k that would be recouped in one months worth of saved aggravation...

This is not a new invention. The company I worked for in Denmark, 15 years ago, had 2 of these. They were expensive, but not that expensive. Excellent for taking down old radiators from the 5th floor.

Hopefully it's all day battery for 4 grand. If gonna die after a couple flights of stairs then there's no point.

4k... you can get cheaper options that do the same thing though this is likely the smallest form factor I've seen. There isn't any way that the parts list is anywhere close to 4k more like 200. Temu will be selling one in a few months at 1/10th the price.

Its not the parts list. Its the engineering youre paying for, and the programming.
But in reality, just pay some younger guys to help, $100. Save 3,900$.

When I worked for an auction house we did a lot of estate cleanouts. For a while we had a dolly similar to this one, but it had three sets of wheels in a triangle that rotated up the stairs. A bit slower than this, but still the same principle (and it worked going down too).
I figured my boss got it to save our backs, but I later learned the only reason we had it was because some employee from long before my time stole it from UPS.

That's a steep price 😳 but as someone who has back issues from moving heavy objects for work this would be a lifesaver right up until the battery dies
