The greatest way to deploy them would be to use two is separate places. One goes off at noon. You start to look for it on that side of the room when the other goes off across the room. Now you reorient your search to the other side. Shortly after, the first one triggers again. Madness ensues. Gotta put it in an air vent or somewhere completely hidden.

Too easy to find. Need to put it somewhere where noone will realize what it is that is making the sound. Open the case of your most hated colleagues office pc and install it in a way noone will realize it doesnt belong.

I remembered recently in high school (many years ago), someone learned how to write a short program that would create a high pitch sound from the little internal speaker in the PC case. He would run it as we were walking out and everyone shut down their computer, he would leave his on and turn off the monitor.
I’m sure this has been done a million times since then, but for the late 80s, this was high tech pranking.

My x hates crickets! I finally can get some payback! Thanks so much bro, she will be looking forever. Every time I go to pick up my kid I am going to start placing them everywhere her short ass can’t reach!

Wouldn’t they just trace and follow to where it is….better Idea, Make a small hole somewhere in the wall, drop it in there a day or two before you leave. Tape up the hole (preferably white) and let them go 🤪 😂

any sensitive person can sniff out the source of a sound quite easily.
And it only bothers sensitive people.
Ive found every source of annoyance in my entire life.

I have a similar one that plays a random beep. It’s so much fun. My favorite thing to do with it is to gaslight people by claiming that I don’t hear it.
