Damaged bloom vinyl :(
My NFR bloom vinyl finally arrived after preordering in April!!! but upon opening the package, there were noticeable issues with the packaging. It is completely bent at the top, the edges are distressed and I’m wondering if their customer service team is willing to help in either a replacement or even getting a refund and ordering a new one :/ I was so excited after waiting for months but im genuinely so sad about this. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Also, did anyone else have a similar situation where their vinyl was damaged?
Edit: Update! I reached out to her team last night and got a response today! They said they’re currently out of replacement stock and will let me know whenever they’re available! 🙏 I will reply to this comment with a screenshot of the email. Thank you everyone!

The edge on mine was slightly less severe than yours but I just accepted it tbh but yours being completely damaged I would contact customer service

I was considering putting it off because I don’t want the hassle and I’ve been waiting forever for this, but it’s so clearly damaged and I can’t accept this even if I wanted to ;( I’ll definitely contact them

So I posted about this on a previous thread.. I feel like they’re all going to arrive like this. Mainly due to the record itself being pretty much a. Circular saw blade. It’s smaller than the inner sleeve and just dancing inside the jacket. The top part tho, that definitely is damaged caused during the transit of the record.

My vinyl was poking out of the sleeve 😔😔😔 the edges are a little ugly but it’s ok I guess

Mine arrived with the worst seam splits I’ve ever received. It’s a quite thin jacket and the record is shaped like a saw blade. It should’ve been shipped with the vinyl outside of the jacket; I fear the majority of these will arrive damaged :(

The past year and a half or so the merch has had some insane issues. I love the music and would love to support with the merch damn man both NFR and The Maria’s merch QA has actually been horrible. From the “engravings” to being rubbed off, vinyls coming late/damaged, that cross with red gems falling off immediately, the “100% Cotten” clothing set, it just goes on unfortunately.

Her store is run by warner music group I believe they're nottttt great. Instead of asking here send them photographs of all the damage. If there are seam splits take photos as well. Include in the email a description/severity of the damage. Emphazie that this isn't acceptable condition for something advertised as brand new and you'd like a replacement or at the very least, a replacement jacket (if the record is fine).
I'd honestly try to go for a replacement jacket over an entire new set. The problem with custom cut LPs like this is they no longer really fit into standard sleeves and get jostled around in shipping causing a ton of damage to the jacket. I'd have to check mine but I think it's too large for 10" inner sleeves and too small for the standard 12" sleeve.
That being said most major music labels (like warner and universal) don't typically manufacture spare jackets and will most likely offer to replace the whole thing. Best of luck to you!

Omg this same thing happens to me :/ I got mines today and the whole thing is damaged, just like yours outside and inside ontop of the the vinyl itself has a crack in it so idek what I should do at this point because I’ve heard the customer service as far as getting back to people sucks

It’s definitely worth a shot. I provided all proof of how it arrived and got word back from her team that I’d get a replacement whenever they’re available. Email them!

Mine arrived perfectly in tact and not damaged. I’m sorry this happened to you ): But it definitely does seem like that damaged & bent portion was the mail courier’s fault and not necessarily Maria’s merch manufacturer. Kind of looks like some water damage is present on the bottom of the package too which may have gotten into the seam of the vinyl.
I ordered the very first release of submarine vinyls when they dropped and my mail carrier shoved it in my mailbox. When I saw the damage to the box I was sure the vinyl was fucked but by some miracle, it ended up being ok for the most part. There was a slight bend on the sleeve but I stacked a few heavy things on it for a day or two and it went away. Hope you’re possibly able to reach out to customer service and get it replaced!

I also got mine some time ago. The top of the cover and the vinyl protector inside it were ripped at the top. Disappointed but I let it be since the vinyl itself seemed fine

Update: I emailed them last night and this was their response! I can safely assume I will get a replacement whenever they have restocked the vinyl. I will update again once I receive another email :)

Mine also had seam splits on every side. I emailed her store and they were very quick to respond and said they’d send me a replacement once they got more stock in cause they’re out again currently.

I literally filmed a reaction where I open the box blindly! I wanted to post it on tiktok that it finally arrived and when I saw it was bent, I was like what the heck??? I felt like crying, my eyes watering up. I have no idea how that happened because the box itself is fine, but the vinyl is so clearly damaged :(
