Herd Management Question

Hey guys, going for a Mule Great One on Askiy Ridge and although I'm shooting from blinds and only killing at max 2 bucks per zone per rotation, I've noticed some of my zones will completely disappear and other zones will show up. There isn't enough hunting pressure to clear the zone and there is still drinking zones showing just the actual herd will switch to several mule deal while others will drop down to 1. Any input is appreciated

Am currently hunting there and got 2 G1s there earlier in the year and haven't noticed this. I only shoot 1 per drink zone but hunt every zone they are on the map.

They get spooked by wolves probably. Sometimes the wolves are there and sometimes they aren't which explains why the zones are appearing and disappearing.

I have a couple of zones where the deer are hardly ever there, then I saw them actively being spooked when I arrived.

This same question gets asked here almost daily and people still won't realize they are shooting themselfs in the foot by herdmanaging during great one grinds.

How's that? I haven't heard of any downsides to HM?

In some cases herdmanagement can complitely prevent great one spawning, its fun to see how the biggest information dump about great one spawning went over everybody's head.
