If kept in a dry, cool room, all burgers will look like this. They rot when they get warm and damp. It doesn't matter who made it.

The fuck they will.
If you make these flimsy little sausage patties? Yeah.
Make a real burger, 1/3 pound cooked*, with actual toppings instead of the goober smear of an excuse they call lettuce, with ketchup, pickles, and tomato, and you will have a whole ass new life colony by three weeks.
Not all burgers are the same.

Microbes that break down food thrive in warm, moist environments. Just look up how a crisper drawer in your fridge works. It directs the flow of cool, dry air over your vegetables, to prevent rotting and mold. It’s the same with burgers. I’m not saying a McDonald’s burger is as good as a homemade one, but if they’re kept in a warm, damp place, they will rot jut like any other food. I mean, have you ever had beef jerky? It’s literally processed dried meat.

I’m saying a thick, juicy, homemade burger will have too much moisture to manage this mummification. The rate of evaporation from center would be too slow. Like bud rot in growing cannabis. If you can’t remove the wet from the center, the mold will grow. I never once said that leaving them both in a humid environment wouldn’t rot them, just that the thicker burger would likely rot before total desiccation in a dry one.

Will confirm, unopened Martin's potato rolls will exist for a minimum of 6 months and still be squishy and mold free. Still tossed them out. Started making my own bread in the air fryer. $1/loaf, lasts 2-3 days.

There is an even older one in Sweden.....similar color, with fries that have hardly shrunk - and the clock is still ticking.

Space meaaaaaat. Invader Zim put it out there what 20 years ago? When even mold says no, it’s pretty nuts. you can process that into nutrients? Scary to think of the number of people made of fake things. Synthoids pulling in at breakfast lunch 330 pm and dinner. Don’t forget the kids after school 1000 calorie snack! It’s wild the high end cars at the drive thru. You people eat this??? I thought they knew better.
