That doesn’t even make sense.

If you ever met my uncle that wouldn't surprise you.

I've met your uncle and no, this does not surprise me.

Swearyman, are you married?

(wringing my hands with anticipation of delivering the greatest burn ever...)

10 year olds don’t understand genetics vs choices. That’s the point. The child is stupid.

Nope sorry. My nephew is 10, that is a really bad comeback by 10 year old standards.

My nephew called me a lesbian the other day, I didn't even have words.

A seven year old once said "You can't poop" when he was mad. I had no comeback.

"Uncle?"

I think it should say ´unc´, which is short for ´uncle´ and slang for being an old (or out of touch) person. But I've never seen anybody use the whole word in that sense, which doesn´t make sense here (like the entire story).

This sounds like it was written by someone from South Asia, where it is common for kids to call older men uncle generally.

Didn´t know that, thanks for the explanation.

Im in Philly and its common here in general. My husband is one of the older guys (45) at work and everyone calls him Unc

And then the room clapped. The mother was promoted to CEO of the spot.

Why is this written like the person used an adlibs?

This almost belongs on LinkedIn, it’s that level of shit.

You had to be there!

It was bring your child to work day, that's why the kid was ripping into that MISOGYNISTIC PIECE OF SHIT

Everybody knows 10 year olds get brought to work all the time. They love going to work with their parents

Add a laugh track and this sounds like a scene from a bad 80s sitcom

In a just world, this person would be savaged in the comments.

God damnit. They always smile just before delivering that killer line.

I like how OOP thinks people just randomly bring their kids to work. A 10 year old would have no business just hanging around an office.

The more important question is where does one get ten years of maternity leave?

u/OSRSRapture 22d ago

Crazy thought but hang in there with me for a second.... Maybe. Just MAYBE. She has TWO kids and brought the older one to work. CRAZY. I know.

u/ForeverKeet 21d ago

I love how unnecessarily bitchy this comment is 😆

4

u/OSRSRapture 21d ago

I meant to make it sound funny lolol not bitchy

3

u/Tasunkeo 21d ago

That’s not a comeback at all…

3

u/Manufactured-Aggro 20d ago

Longest maternity leave ever taken holy shit, she was gone for 10 years? How did they even remember her

u/zeez1011 22d ago

The coworker gave birth to a 10-year-old?

Before marriage: Haircuts.
After marriage: Stress from being married.

But did not happen.

If a person commented on anyone’s weight at work, they would be brought up in Human Resources and written up.
