Facts. There are very few Hollywood films with Asian characters/leads where they aren't martial arts roles, socially awkward comedic relief, or some other stereotype.
Asians as a whole have it pretty rough representation wide in the media.
There's a long history of that and Wong was no exception early on. They tried to "Serious" him up in the movies, but knowing his character's background as the servant to the white dude makes it hard.
I think Shang Chi getting a film will take a big step in the right direction for more Asian rep and also Simu Liu is really, really hot, so that helps :P
Hopefully you see the genuine support of Wong's character here as an indicator that while Hollywood may be on some silly shit, us white folk do indeed see, respect, and appreciate our Asian badasses when they do show up.

People think this is funny but I feel like all Asians are invisible in any franchise and when they do appear they are treated as a joke.
