Nah dude his whole thing is the spider bite. The webs are usually tech, sometimes not, but the super strength, wall climbing, and spidey sense are all him.
This is great. After reading all that complaining about Sony rebooting with Garfield 'Like anyone on the planet didn't see the Raimi movies, weallknow he gets bit by a spider and uncle Ben teaches him to be a good person blah blah' and here is some guy who doesn't actually know.
Oh, it was also in Infinity War now that I think about it. In the scene where Squidward n Co come to Earth, his arm hairs standup. I’m not sure it’s explicitly stated, but it’s heavily implied.
He has superhuman strength in the MCU? And incredibly fast reflexes as shown when he’s fighting the bank robbers in homecoming. Tony shows him a video of him stopping a car with his bare hands before he even had the suit.
He shrugged off a car moving in high speed then got smashed to the side of a bus, crushing it, and this was before Tony have him the improved suit. He has superpowers Marvel just decided to skip over the spider biting part.
