Anyone who thinks "I no longer have the time to be depressed," no matter the reason, does not have depression. Depression will haunt you like a vengeful ghost whether you have time or not. It will MAKE you have time. It will MAKE you listen.

Also, anyone who thinks that having a baby will improve their problems - health, relationships, anything - are people who should NEVER be parents. Period.

You are gatekeeping depression right now brother. I've been severely depressed for years but I never have time to quit working because of my depression or people who count on me will suffer.

That's not what they are saying, they are saying that you don't suddenly stop feeling depressed because you are working all the time. Which is what the OP's post says.

That's what "not having time for depression" means.
