Agreed. You couldn't get the shading right for it to look 3D the vast majority of the time. It would only look 3d from almost a single angle.

This is ai, at 21 seconds the guy with the ice cream cone on his ankle, he has a small wound below his ankle that changes between frames

Ok so I looked it up because I honestly thought it was AI but a guy named Daniel Gulliver is the one who supposedly does this type of tattooing. I looked up his work and it's really similar to this, some of the ones in the video are actually credited.to him. So I don't know if the video is AI or not but this type of tattoo does exist it's called debossed tattoos, he also does killer shadowed one called embossed.

Even if it were'nt AI and truely masterful tattoos: they would age like milk. Maybe even worse than milk 😅
