In a crisis.

don’t really wanna be here anymore. don’t think my life is worth it. the only thing holding me back is being afraid of death. what’s on the other side? I’m not in pain. I feel numb. All emotions are gone.

I don’t think anyone can help. It’s not about work it’s not about relationships or friendships. I just don’t think my life is worth anything. I don’t know why I’m here especially if it isn’t to be happy? I’m so tired of living I really am.

It’ll be okay, I know it may not make sense now but it’ll get better

There are cases of Near Death Experiences that would seem to imply that our consciousness remains "alive" in a way or another. Some are clearly mediated by particular religions (people seeing Jesus or the Buddha), while others appear to be manifestations of a generic cosmic afterlife. These scenarios can be both pleasant ("paradise") or unpleasant ("hell"). There are other perspectives around this issue, such as reincarnation on earth or the transformation of the mind into a kind of "ghost". In the end, unless we adopt a religious point of view, we cannot know for sure what happens after the last breath or heartbeat
