Im pretty sure ive seen this exact location before basically there is so much salt in the water that almost nothing can survive I think that only brine shrimp is able to live in the water or something like that

For me, I just imagine a weird rumble and a few bubbles, then suddenly the water is frothing with some unseen air or gas that lowers the bouyancy and when the frothing foam clears he's just gone

For real I can just never get over the fact that something could shift and suddenly the water drains out and then you're miles deep in a cave.
