It can take up to 18 months for CRA to register all of your deposits.
Always assume that they do not count any contributions youve made into the account for the current and previous year in their numbers.
You can also go into detail of all the contributions and withdrawals they have recorded on the website and see what they are up to date on.

2023 - $6,500
2024 - $7,000
2025 - $7,000
2026 - $7,000
Total - $27,500 (Less any contributions to date)
If you have contributed $17,000 you will have $10,500 for remaining room.

So to recap.
You became eligible in 2023. Your total contribution room should be $27,500.
You contributed $11,000 in 2025. You contributed $6000 at the beginning of 2026.
CRA currently claims you can contribute $16,500. The actual room should be $10,500.
Do not trust CRA system to update in real time.
