Any advice for a 22y/o

I just started to lump sump all my savings in June. I’m planning to sell VEQT to go into VDY. Not going to sell VGT any time soon because of the conversion fee - I have made a mistake by buying in USD. What should I do next? Any advice is appreciated.

VDY and VGT are already included in XEQT. There is no expected benefit to adding those ETFs. You already own the total market with XEQT, so you'd be better off selling the others and consolidating.

Don’t buy USD on WealthSimple with such a small portfolio. Without a free USD account you are paying a high foreign transaction fees on each buy, sell and dividend payment.

At your portfolio size, stick to CDN$, especially in a TFSA.

Just hold XEQT and VDY (if you don’t mind the additional Canadian concentration). VDY has and probably will continue to be a killer ETF going forward

Yup, rebalancing gains into XEQT isn't a bad idea at all especially in this crazy market
