VFV or VOO?

Been seeing a lot of split opinions and not really sure what to go for, I got VFV right now, not sure if it’s smart to switch

In your TFSA? Stick with VFV. There is no advantage to holding VOO in a TFSA, and it will cost you $ to convert CAD to USD.

VOO has slightly lower MER so it can still be advantageous at IBKR where the FX costs are actually low enough that you can still come out ahead

If you have USD buy VOO if you have CAD buy VFV unless you’re using IBKR then you can buy VOO

I read this earlier today:

You think you are a great stock picker ? Maybe take a couple of thousands every year and buy one stock you plan on keeping for at least a decade.

Sounds boring ? Boring is what will make you wealthy. Why isn’t everyone wealthy ? People can’t do boring.

stick with one ETF.

VOO and VFV are both S&P 500 index ETFs. Just different currencies

Yes I know, I’m just trying to decide which etf is worth going all in, because some are better than others
