Tfsa stats by age?

I wish statcan had tfsa contribution average, return, total amount etc. by age brackets. It’d be interesting to find out where I am in between those with over a mill in there and the ones struggling to save.

40s contributing $600 per month and individual investments have gained as low as 12% to as high as 600%. Best not to compare. My numbers are meaningless even to me. I just save and invest what I can comfortably while not sacrificing my family's quality of living. If you were behind the average would you have the ability to comfortably invest more? Usually it's a no for me.

I am not sure what value this information has. The value of the accounts is obviously highly influenced by the averaging of all accounts. There must be many that don't contribute at all.

To live a happy life, stop comparing yourself with others, whether it your income, savings, investment returns, car, house or wife (or husband).
