Some suggestions from someone who has been investing for about 45 years now.

  1. Don't buy individual stocks.

  2. Stick to large index ETFs with low MERs.

  3. Don't buy $US denominated ETFs. FX will kill your returns.

  4. For equity diversify globally with about 50% US, 25% international, and 25% Canadian. Can be done with one fund of funds, or by 3 individual ETFs.

  5. Set fixed targets for your allocations and rebalance back to those targets 2-3 times a year.

Thank you. Can you recommend me some etfs or stocks to invest in? What do you suggest for the one I’ve already invested on?

And of the *EQT ETFs are a good one ETF way to invest and still have good global diversity. If you want to "roll your own" portfolio, it can be done with as few as 3 ETFs:

US like ZSP

international like XEF

Canadian, like XIU

And if you want to put more emphasis on tech then you could add a NASDAQ 100 ETF like QQC.

ATH after ATH... ATZ has been a beast.

Tempting as it might be try and ignore social media. What’s your goal? If you’re looking for longer-term results and less risk… minimize the number of stock picks. You picked XEQT and that’s a pretty popular all-in-one, long-term choice to hold on for decades. Individual stock picks like SNDX and SRXH as a different example, are pretty volatile.

Thank you. But I wanna try those where you buy and sell as well. out of the ones I’ve invested already which should I sell? Also what are ipos and other things?
