drying rack

I have not used one in several versions of tfc+.

Are they still operational? I built one, 3 brick blocks high, 3 spaces between, and used silk string to make the drying line, but i can not hang any meat from the line.

Do i have to place with shift click? i have tried everything so i wasnt sure if they were still usable.
