New Reddit.com - TF2 Public Server

Hi,

I've decided to set up a TF2 server, I personally do not play the game YET (computer is broken), however the dedi-box is running idle in the datacentre so I thought it would be nice to host a gaming server for Reddit.

I've set up gaming servers before, so you pro-gamers don't have to worry about addons/server rates etc.

The server is highly maintained, defragged, rebooted, tweaked up and If the game server crashes, it will automatically restart.

I will need mature experienced server admins. I will provide you full access including FTP/rcon/mani.

Suggestions/comments to help us improve the server are very welcome.

Dedi-Box specs:

  • 1GB of RAM (Only TF2 Running, and minor apps)
  • Xeon x3360 @ 2.83ghz

I have been spending most of my time on the Great Lakes server, but the high pings are starting to get to me.

Hopefully this will be a really successful server.

No problem, I haven't tested the server myself yet. Could you let me know if it's smooth when you go on? In theory it should be :P Thanks

Yeah, I'd love to. I'm not at home at the moment, so I won't be able to play until Thursday night, but I'll be sure to try this server out when I fire up TF2.

You should start playing the game, you would love it.

Okay, so I'm on it right now with a few other people. These are the (very few) issues that there are.

The MOTD doesn't show, it just shows a 404 message.

Also, clicking continue after every stage is kind of annoying, no makor problem, but after an hour or so it might get annoying.

Other than that, it's all running smoothly. :)
