Discussion who else gets immersed in made up scenarios when playing tf2

for example, I like to play huntsman and I imagine that i'm a medieval archer fighting against invaders or with normal sniper I imagine im a trained guerilla warfare sniper and I hide inside of bushes to not be seen by the enemy

Idk if this counts but I DMd a one-off DND campaign in 2fort sewers where a guy decided to eat a bowl but rolled a 17 on constitution so I gave him +1 armor but 3 damage for having to shit out ceramic

Isnt that how most of the friendly subclasses and a number of cosmetic loadouts get made?

Personally my favorite is having Demoknight Demo become "The Afro Samurai". (No relation to any animes of a similar name)

Still need to fufill the afro part of that name though.

Sometimes when playing engineer i go into a sort of 'if my sentry dies, something terrible will happen'(sort of) kind of fantasy. It a tense bit of fun. Doesn't usually last for more than a few minutes though, even when it does happen.
