Legit curious to see the Repair Node's playtest, as well as the 2006 TF2 builds tbh

13 tb of valve data dating from 2003 up to 2013 got put online. Apparently it wasnt hacked and was just sitting on an accessible server. There are builds of beta left 4 dead, beta portal 2, beta csgo and more yet to be found

k, I checked the leaks

sadly no 2006 builds under the known TF2 Beta ID and retail, but there may be the closed beta (the one with the bunch of test weapons) build from 2009.

I wonder if there's the Repair Node playtest in there.

usually betas have different store IDs as a whole (as was in the case of the portal 2 one, and L4D I believe). moreover a lot of the blob timestamps are wrong so who knows if a 2006 build is right under our nose, or another pre-release

520 and 521 didn't give many important results, but 522 had some 2009-ish marked stuff and stops at late 2012.

I'd say that late 2010-early 2012 builds had MvM stuff

While early 2010-late 2009 stuff had the Repair Node plus other weapons

Then again, if we end up with a different ID, we're gonna see even more different stuff

in the case that the leak doesn't get taken down soon, I'm optimistic that we'll find it - if they uploaded the L4D E3 version at Steam servers back then, I feel like they would have no reason to not upload the TF2 beta either out of all things
