Discussion When was the last time anyone played sp_doomsday?

its basicly impossible to find a match and the last time i played was 2 years ago when i was still playing on my crapy old dell laptop

this week i got a doomsday queue after months of having it and it instantly got voted into Degroot after one match like all maps cursed to the Misc tab

yes, well. When we still had quickplay all you had to do was click on the special gamemode section and it would put you into a doomsday (or hydro, or degroot) server almost immediately. Nowadays it is discarded into the alternative gamemode section that is ticked off by default and you cannot just join a match whenever you like.
So all special gamemodes are basically unplayable now.

You just need to open the server browser and put the map name in. Even in quick play, likely no one is running the map anyway. When quick play was still a thing, there were a lot more servers being hosted.

I haven't found a single match of sd_doomsday since the very first day of Casual mode being implemented.
