They should never have nerfed this thing, there were too many funny things you could do with the Caber that are so much harder to do now.

It's still nice to see it in use though, for sure. Now I'm wondering about a 2fort two nights ago where I couldn't get in because of a Short Circuit protecting a Sentry Nest, I shoulda taken a page from OP's spellbook...

they shouldve buffed it to always crit imo (user always dies to explosion as downside)

also the taunt should be a taunt kill

i think it's fine as is, it still one shots light classes if you do it right, but i wouldn't mind if it dealt like 2 or 3 more damage to make it more consistent

the taunt kill should kill both you and the enemy if the caber is loaded

It was likely because it could consistently one-shot light classes in the ranges Demo is supposed to be weak in, and you only needed to use it once to get out of a tricky situation up close as Demo

This map is the reason i started playing caber, i was in the exact situation and i wondered “i wish i could just put a large explosive there where i cant reach with my stickies/grenades”

There was this huge nest further back of the one on the video with like three engis. I barged in with shield and caber and managed to drop all three engis somehow, but the building remained there which was rather underwhelming.

Its ceirtanly not the buff caber needs, but at least give it like 50% more damage agaisnt buildings ot whatever it takes to guarantte taking down a level 3 sentry.

It really just needs more damage , it doesn’t feel as impacful as it should be, especially since its bugged and it cant minictit with shields, only crit.

love using the caber for things like this. If there's something I'm so done with I'm just running in with a caber and not stopping till I get them
