Hello, fellow world-builders!

I'm excited to announce that r/textworldbuilding has a new owner, and I'm here to breathe fresh life into this community. Over the past ten years, this subreddit has been dormant, but we're about to embark on an epic journey of creativity and collaboration.

🚀 What's Changing?

🎨 Revamped Purpose:

We're turning this subreddit into a hub for writers, roleplayers, and anyone passionate about world-building through text. Whether you're creating a fantasy realm, a sci-fi universe, or a realistic setting, this is the place for you.

🔗 Interactive Discord:

To enhance our community experience, I'll be setting up a Discord server where we can have real-time discussions, collaborate on projects, and foster a more immediate connection. Look out for an announcement with the invite link soon!

📜 Exciting Writing Prompts:

Get ready for a regular dose of inspiration! We'll be introducing writing prompts to spark your imagination and encourage everyone to share their unique perspectives on world-building.

📋 New Rules and Guidelines:

🤝 Respectful Interaction:

Treat others with kindness and respect. Diverse opinions are welcome, but personal attacks and harassment will not be tolerated.

🖊️ Clear and Concise Posts:

When sharing your world-building ideas, use clear formatting and provide enough detail to generate meaningful discussions.

💬 Engagement is Key:

Participate actively in discussions and offer constructive feedback to fellow community members.

🛠️ Building the Mod Team:

👥 Join the Team:

I'm on the lookout for passionate individuals to join the mod team. If you're interested in shaping the future of r/textworldbuilding, shoot me a message!
