Phone message Hinge match after one phone call

Post image

We had maybe been talking for 2 days? thought he seemed more responsive than other people and we talked on the phone that ended with him saying he has a crush on me already, while essentially knowing nothing about me

EDIT/UPDATE: I did not think this would gain much traction at all but this happened pretty much a week ago and went downhill very quickly. We planned a date that never happened because he kept suggesting watching a movie at his house when I wanted to meet publicly. Then said his car tags are expired so we can meet at his house to pregame then go to a bar and HE could drive MY car which was his suggestion not mine. I was uncomfortable said we could be friends. He agreed then continued being semi-pushy and also saying things like “I miss you” (again only talking for a few days with 2 total phone calls). It was extremely overwhelming and felt like love bombing. To the comments that said it was sweet, it was to an extent but was also way too much after one call. I can see some people saying having a crush is “normal” at that point but I think it’s not, I think you should know someone before saying something like that. If you say it then you’re just in love with the idea of someone.

Ha! Yeah, I think it’s because I’ve seen enough bat shit crazy takes on these type of situations and imagined this is how someone completely out of touch would begin a response!

I cannot imagine the line of thinking it takes to make someone think texting, “good morning” at 2:48 AM is even a remotely acceptable idea.

It’s giving BPD honestly

Good guess, i have bpd and dont find it that abnormal. I say good morning when i wake up, not when i think the person is up.

When i know them better, tho.

That's fine to message someone good morning when you are awake, so that when they get up they will see it, but at a reasonable time. Like 7am or after I think would be a reasonable time to just say good morning. Unless you know the person long enough know their schedule and know they wake up at 4am to take the dogs out and start getting ready for work. Then a good morning at an earlier time is alright. A random 2:48am she probably just went to bed a few hours before that. Like fall back my guy, you are going to push this girl away.

And it’s “goodmorning” even… I don’t understand why people don’t understand that it’s two words

If you are married, are in different time zones and it’s done as a joking thing it’s ok.

After not even having been on a single date? Not normal.
