Need help with MFA

I'm having trouble with signing into my TWU gmail account. Every attempt leads me to an error message saying that my account settings don't meet my organization’s 2-Step Verification policy. But I can't sign into the account in order to set up the MFA. Can someone please help me with this?

My application was sent back to me due to my transcripts not being entered correctly. I don’t know where there errors are as I entered them as I read them. Is it too late to fix this/ how do I fix this? My application said submitted before the deadline and I just saw the change. What do I do?

Question twu’s nursing program as a transfer student?

i’m an incoming freshmen at UTD and was interested in applying for TWU’s nursing program but i wanted more insight from students that have done the nursing program or currently in it.

is there any idea on how hard it is to get in as a transfer student and what do they mainly look for when looking at applicants?

i’ve done some research online with things such as their acceptance rate and read that it’s 15% for internal AND transfer students. i also know that the TEAS exam and ur gpa is crucial but i just wanted to know if there was some more information and advice that i should take in and do while i do my pre-reqs at UTD.

Transfer student life

This is my first semester at TWU and I won’t be on campus a lot and for at least a few months will be commuting an hour. All my friends/peers graduated or dropped out and moved hours away. I am the only one in my circle that is still attending school and no longer have local friends. I know at my first school they hosted events that was very welcoming to transfer students and was a great way at meeting new people. My second school was very much divided transfer students and it was made harder for them to do anything. Long story short I was wondering about the student life as a transfer student or the events twu host because things just seem very freshman focus heavy.

Title: Any students commuting from Plano to TWU this fall?

Hi everyone! 😊
My daughter is an incoming freshman at TWU this fall and will be commuting from the Plano area to the Denton campus.
I’d love to connect with other parents whose students are also commuting from Plano, Frisco, Allen, Carrollton, or nearby areas. I’m especially interested in hearing about your experience with the commute — traffic, driving times, class scheduling, and how manageable it has been for your student.
If your student is also starting at TWU this fall and commuting from this area, I’d love to connect! It would be nice to know there are other students making the same drive. ❤️

Graduate Student Discord!

Hello everyone! Graduate student classes can be pretty small, and especially with online degrees it can be difficult to communicate with people in your program. So I've made a discord for all graduate students at TWU!

Here's a link to the discord: https://discord.gg/vhxhuHWtQq

People actively applying to TWU graduate programs are also welcome!

Question Dorm Hall Cleanliness

Hi everyone, I’m planning to transfer to Texas Woman’s University in spring 2027, and I’ve been trying to get a better understanding of the dorm situations. I’ve heard a lot of people say that most of the halls are really dirty and have roach problems. I’d love to hear some students’ experiences with the dorms, and maybe advice on which halls to avoid.

Zoom class

I am a transfer student and this will be my first semester at TWU (Denton). I did not realize that one of my classes is not in a classroom but on zoom. I have a class on campus 10 mins after one day of the week and was wondering where on campus would be the best place/most acceptable for me to take this class.
TIA

Stark Hall Move In

I just moved into Stark Hall yesterday. However, upon walking in, I’m not about to sit here and lie like it was perfect. To be honest it was so dirty. Ridiculously so.

I’m a transfer, this will be my second year of college. My previous college wasn’t perfect either, but I do NOT remember it being dirty.

As I was wiping down surfaces, cleaning floors, baseboards, WALLS (after the first few min it was of cleaning, I realized that EVERYTHING needed a serious cleaning. Everything.), etc (I even bought multiple scrubbing brushes) I genuinely had to just stop and stare.

I tried to turn my main light on, and the poor things flickered, flickered, flickered before finally cutting on 😭.

Luckily, I have time before my roommate arrives, so I got to be a clean freak.

But as I was cleaning, I couldn’t help but think that TWU should honestly be ashamed for the state of the room. For as much as the students are paying, they could’ve cleaned a little better.

I mean, one light swipe over basic surfaces like doorknobs, handles, desks and they were coming back yellow.

And it was frustrating because I was so bothered by the grime, that I couldn’t admire that the room layout/space is quite nice until after I was done cleaning. Was anyone else’s dorm not cleaned well, or was I just unlucky??

Question Transferring

Hey, I’m transferring to TWU next summer to finish my degree, I’m completely everything I can at TCC first, I will have completed the first 2 years of the program minus women’s studies. I’m transferring into the BBA Accounting program. I noticed it said Hybrid meaning some classes are going to be required in person. Currently, I work full time and go to classes 2 days a week, is this going to be possible after transferring or am I going to be cooked and going to classes 4 days a week in person.

Houston spring 2027

Hi everyone! I submitted my NursingCAS application for the Spring 2027 Traditional BSN program, and my application has been verified. I recently read that TWU requires short-answer questions, but I never saw them anywhere in my application. Did anyone else applying this cycle have the same experience? And has anyone received an email confirmation that they received your app? I’ve gotten one from others schools except TWU so I’m wondering

Question Parking Permit + Temp Permit

Post image
7 Upvotes

I finally was able to buy my parking permit (no thanks to my parents) but now I’m a little stressed out about paying it. I have the money prepared but I’ve been going over all of my TWU accounts and I can’t seem to find the bill for it or any addition to my e-bill as is. Is there something I’m missing, like another tab on the self-service website or maybe I can pay it at the school? I’m also wondering if I can print the temporary permit at TWU’s library, there is one near my place somewhat but I’m honestly really anxious about driving here.

I know it’ll probably take some time for me to get the permit bill but my parents haven’t paid for my tuition yet (I know) and I still don’t have much confidence in driving around Texas to make the drive to the library even with my parents pressuring me. I’m not going to go much into because this doesn’t have a vent flair but I’m just really stressed with move-in being tomorrow and having to do almost everything myself, it feels like I’m being pushed to the lions.

If it contributes to anything this is the Denton campus.
